ABOUT US
Trade Tariffs Refunds 2026, LLC is a special-purpose entity formed to recover Trade Tariffs refunds for customs brokers and smaller and mid-size businesses after the Supreme Court held that portions of the Trump Tariffs exceeded the boundaries of IEEPA. The battleground for refund claims will be in the Court of International Trade. TTR26Group is a Daughter/Father business.

JUDICIAL FILING
We prepare and file a Complaint in the U.S. Court of International Trade, and we manage the administrative and legal processes to obtain a refund Judgment/Order from the Court.

We gather and audit the necessary customs entrance documents and legal records required for formal submission.

CAPITAL RECOVERY
Once the claim is secured, we oversee the finalization of the refund process to ensure that recovered capital is paid directly to your accounts

Caroline Kurz
PrESIDENT
Caroline Kurz has 17 years of professional experience, including 10 years focused on international trade. She studied in Austria and Germany and earned her MBA from Boston College in 2015. Her experience spans German, Canadian, Indian and Chinese companies. Most recently, she managed $135M in annual imports of Asian-manufactured products, working closely with major retailers to bring products to market.

James S. Kurz

James Kurz is an attorney practicing in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. He is admitted to practice law in the federal and state courts in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, in the U.S. Court of International Trade, before the Supreme Court of the United States, and in multiple additional federal courts.
His professional experience includes several years as a federal antitrust attorney and assignments as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C. He has been a Litigation Partner in two AmLaw 100 firms; he served as the lead counsel for 76 Virginia businesses in litigation returning millions of dollars of computer tax refunds plus obtaining $200 million in prospective tax relief. He has recently represented the trucking industry in federal interpleader actions in the federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and DC
